I recently created my first substack accounts. I spend $5.00 a month to learn how to "Invent a Universe" from a woman, Sera Gamble, who has inspired me the moment I connected with her creative outlet. Her last post said something along the lines of "Please do NOT EVER USE this word"
What's the Point?
In her most recent post she made me LOL.. but also realize that my time at
Climate Pledge has been sustainable after all.
The Back Story:
I wanted to stay in consulting and in project management (I had gotten an MBA, passed the PMP, and devoted 20 years of my life to that profession afterall!)
The universe has sent me on a fun whirlwind kicking and screaming these past two years
If I could define it in a few words it would be
Needing to Pay Rent = Opening Myself up to Something Different
I started to remember that in a world 20 years ago, my primary source of income was from promotional marketing.
Phase One: Random promotional samplings
Phase Two: "Finding Home" Meaning I am grateful to rediscover my Seeattle roots via acting and theatre
Phase Three: My introduction to the wonderful world of sports (blog post TO COME. Details of the start below

What's the Point 2.0?
Fast Forward or Rewind Back to: Phase Three
Phase Three: I am hired by Delaware North as a Concessions Supervisor
AND... this really is great! I mena this genuinely I love the people that I work with and how much managing WaFD has come to mean to me.
What has been an adjustment has been: the level of physcality and an hourly rate I'm not quite used to.
What does the reality of this actually look like?
Well the first thing is getting to adjusted to a schedule that looks like
Wake Up: 12:00pm (and try not to judge youself because WTF it should be 9:30am)
Breakfast: Kefir - apparently that is the only thing besides water and coffee that my body wants
Day Starts: At least 3 hours of prep for whatever it might be
And insert f*cked up ciracdiaum rhythm here
Is there a point to all this? I'm not sure...

But I'm Here.
